TEACHER STATEMENT:
As a student sharing what they’ve learned along their journey, my teaching philosophy centers internal and creative autonomy. I strive to support students in deepening their understanding of their bodies and expression through freestyle/movement foundations. In my own life, bridging storytelling and movement has been a prominent intersection for me to feel fulfilled in both the individual and collective self. I’ve seen the magic of weaving narratives into dance, and I want to share tangible tools for that kind of multi-faceted connection.
